On the 10<sup>th</sup> of June, 2014, the Splatoon Wiki was created on Wikia by [[User:Lumoshi]]. In April 2015, members of [[pikipedia:|Pikipedia]] approached the administrators of the Splatoon Wiki and proposed a move to NIWA, the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance. With some weeks of discussion and feedback from the fandom<ref>[https://www.reddit.com/r/splatoon/comments/35r6ea/discussion_lets_decide_the_future_of_the_splatoon/ {{RDT}} Post asking the community about the future of the wiki]</ref>, it was eventually decided that the wiki would become independent. The move began on the 18<sup>th</sup> of May, 2015.
Ce wiki a été fondé et lancé en juin 2016. Il est basé sur le wiki anglais [[http://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Main_Page|Inkipedia]]. Vous pouvez voir l'histoire de ce wiki anglais en allant [[http://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Inkipedia:About|sur la page "About"]] de celui-ci.


On July 4<sup>th</sup>, 2015, Inkipedia was officially added as a member of the NIWA.
En se faisant lancer, cette version française intègre la NIWA, comme sa version anglaise.


In June 2016, [[:fr:Accueil|a French version of Inkipedia]] was launched.
